Budget Films, Inc. is the world's largest privately owned film archive.

Our ARCHIVAL stock footage collection dates from the turn of the century and contains: slapstick comedies, b-movies, newsreels, documentaries, vintage educationals and industrials, cartoon and animation, science fiction and horror, sports, westerns, romance, drama, and many more weird stuff we can't categorize.

Our CONTEMPORARY stock footage collection contains: travel, nature and beauty footage all over the world, time-lapse, news footage, medicine, lifestyle, high tech footage, and more.

Budget Films, Inc. was established in Hollywood by film collector Albert Drebin in 1962. Al is currently in his eighties but is still present at the library on a daily basis, continuing to archive the materials he lovingly began to acquire in the 1940s. His daughter Layne Murphy, manages the stock footage archive. Bryce Jaramilla is our technical wizard, Martin Montes Jr. is our able expedition manager and the beautiful Mollie Leventon manages our office. The ever eloquent Daniel Nussbaum heads our stock footage archiving department.
