Leftists March Against War
Shots show students and other young people marching against the prospect of war in Europe, probably in 1939. Protesters carry signs tying them to the Young Communist League and the League for Industrial Democracy. At another protest, participants carry signs naming settlement houses in NYC. Camera pans a group of protesters holding signs calling for a strike against war and condemning "imperialist war." Two shots show police taking away demonstrators.
