Frenzied Havanans Greet Fidel
Happy, enthusiastic crowds run along Fidel Castro's parade route as he rides through Havana after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. Shot shows a statue, an allegorical figure of liberty, breaking her chains. Shot shows excited people running down a street ahead of Castro's car. Another shot pans from members of the animated crowd, to Castro, standing in his vehicle beside other rebel soldiers. He stands at the center of a cluster of rebels. Shots pans down to a woman in Cuban patriotic garb, including a sash that reads "Cuba." CU shows raised fists. MS shows a crowd, with one supporter holding a flag with the number 26, symbol of Castro's movement.
