Exodus Passengers Taken
Illegal Jewish immigrants, passengers of the ship Exodus are herded into temporary prison camps in the port of Haifa. Shots show fenced enclosures, soldiers, emotional Holocaust survivors. A man escorted by two soldiers abruptly drops down to kiss the ground of the holy land. Footage shows passengers, including many children, climbing stairways to board a prison ship, where they will be deported back to Europe.
