Jews Defy British Blockade
A ship carrying illegal Jewish immigrants to Palestine runs into the British blockade. Passengers emerge from hiding onto deck after failing to deceive British air patrols. Anxious people look around. Various shots show passengers exhausted from heat and stress. In defiance of the British, refugees hang a sign that says, "Hagana Ship, Unafraid." A man runs an Israeli flag up a pole. CU of flag. Passengers gather on deck and sing Israeli national anthem.
