King George VI Crowned
The Coronation of King George VI after the abdication of his brother. Procession of royals. Archbishop ceremoniously places the crown on the head of the new king, who holds two sceptres as soundtrack blares triumphant music. King and Queen walk out onto balcony and the crowd goes mad. Offscreen narrator intones, "Long live the king."
