De Gaulle Tours Liberated France
Several days after D-Day, Charles De Gaulle tours liberated areas of Normandy. The General arrives in an amphibious vehicle. He jumps to the ground. Sitting in a jeep, he salutes, then the moving jeep fills the screen. Accompanied by a crowd of civilians, he walks down the street in a town. Among trees, he and General Montgomery meet, shake hands, talk.
