Skyhawk Jets In Vietnam
A film made by the U.S. Marine Corps in 1965 touts the effectiveness of bombing to support ground operations during the Vietnam War. Shots of Skyhawk jets landing, taking off and in the sky. A ground crew services a jet. Other support personnel speak on a phone, consult. A distant Skyhawk in the sky, swoops down, emits a flash of light and rises high again. A closer aerial shot taken above a jet in the air, shows an explosion on the ground amidst a dense growth of rain forest. A pilot on the ground, in his cockpit, pats the side of his jet.
