In the mid-1930s, Gen. MacArthur stands at attention and gives a crisp salute. WS shows soldiers marching in ranks with color guard. Also, in 1935, MacArthur resigns from the Army and receives a medal from the secretary of war. Nice CU pan of MacArthur in civilian clothes.
