Eisenhower's Victory, 1952
On election night 1952, a triumphant Dwight Eisenhower, with Mamie by his side, walks into G.O.P. headquarters to wild cheering. He raises his arms over his head briefly and he and Mamie smile and wave. Standing in front of a tally board he speaks to the crowd. Flashbulbs flash. Also, nice shot of women supporters waiting in the night for his arrival.
