Volcano Buries Mexican Village

The Mexican village of San Juan de Paricutino is destroyed by a neighboring volcano. Spectacular footage of the volcano erupting in smoke and fire, spewing molten rock that burns and buries the village. Peasant women wearing garlands and children flee the village on foot and via burro. Walls topple and crumble. Includes shots of lightning over the village.
