Woman Goes To The Guillotine
During the French Revolution: A bloodied man collapses to his death as a woman is carried out of a room and two candles are extinguished, the woman is loaded onto a wagon, great shots of massive, frenzied mobs surrounding a guillotine in a city square, the woman is dragged to the guillotine platform pleading a struggling as two men restrain her. She pleads with the executioner, who binds her to the guillotine as the final candle is snuffed out. Great inter-title: "Ah, wait! One moment more! Life is so sweet!"
